The Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention’s North Peace Satellite Office in Grimshaw extends our mission of fostering hope, connection, and resilience throughout the North Peace region. Through this office, individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and community organizations can access many of the same suicide prevention, mental health promotion, education, and training opportunities offered through our Grande Prairie office, helping ensure supports are available closer to home.
By partnering with schools, workplaces, service providers, and community organizations, we deliver training, resources, and prevention-focused programming that strengthens capacity, reduces stigma, and encourages help-seeking. Our presence in the North Peace helps ensure rural and northern communities have access to the tools, knowledge, and support needed to promote mental wellness, prevent suicide, and create safer, more connected communities.

The Bereavement Moms Group offers a compassionate and understanding community for mothers who have experienced the loss of a child. We recognize that grief is a deeply personal journey, and this group provides a safe, supportive space to share, connect, and find comfort among others who truly understand.
Together, we aim to support, uplift, and honour each unique experience of loss, fostering an environment where healing can grow at its own pace.
Losing a loved one to suicide brings a unique and complex grief, often accompanied by difficult questions and overwhelming emotions. Our 8-week Suicide Bereavement Support Group offers a safe, compassionate space for individuals navigating this profound loss.
Led by trained facilitators, this group provides a confidential and non-judgmental environment where participants can share their experiences, connect with others who understand, and begin the healing process together.
