You Be Youth

Being a youth and navigating the current world is difficult. Finding your way through systems, emotions, and feelings is not always a top priority. You Be Youth is here to support.
Registration for each event is handled through Zeffy. When a youth workshop or camp is open for registration, it will be listed below.

Our programming expands your capacity, knowledge, curiosity, and toolkit to better support you on your journey. It ranges from full-day, interactive workshops to fun evening activities that help youth build strong, healthy peer relationships and learn skills for managing life’s stressors.
You Be Youth offers one-day workshops for youth in grades 2-4, 4-6, 7-8, and 9-12, covering topics relevant to each age group. Our workshops create a safe space for youth to learn healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation, and to build resiliency.
Our Support & Friendship Nights are activities that help foster healthy peer relationships among youth who have attended our workshops. They run on an irregular schedule, and the age range varies depending on the activity — details are shared with each event. Registration for each individual event is required.
Youth Support Drop-In Groups are offered on a rotating schedule at two locations, in partnership with community organizations.
Every second Thursday, You Be Youth, together with County of Grande Prairie FCSS, hosts a drop-in group in Clairmont at the Wellington Resource Centre, 10407 97 Street. Every third Thursday, You Be Youth partners with Mountain Plains and The Friendship Centre to offer a drop-in group at the Mountain Plains Hub, 9808 100 Ave.
